Five hilarious bloggers and Periscopers you should be following

*** Check out the scope I did about these ladies. It’s right after the bios, or watch it on Katch ***

You know what the “woman’s curse” is? It’s not childbirth or having a period (I’m having flashbacks to 5th grade sex-ed and the movie explaining men-stroo-ay-shun). It’s the constant fear of offending, hurting or leaving people out.

What does this have to do with bloggers I should follow?

I’m part of a great group of women who scope every day (what is Periscope? What is scoping? Check it out here). Right now we’re scoping under the hashtag #OctoberScopers since it’s, you know, October and all. Today’s prompt is “blogs you follow.”

This week I decided to focus on bloggers who are also regular Periscopers and who make me laugh so hard I pee on myself. And let’s be honest here – I pee on myself a lot, but I’m talking I-need-a-poise-pad funny.

ok… still trying to get to what this has to do with the woman’s curse and childbirth.

Listing some means not listing all. Which means leaving out scores of other blogs I love. Which makes my stomach lurch. Which I think is the real curse of female-hood. But I’ll get over it. Maybe. But I might throw up first. High five if you can relate.

Quit whining and show us the links.

Read.
Follow.
Watch.
Pee.

@Jillinil
What can I say about Jill? I’m officially her #1 fangirl. We have a lot in common and her sense of humor is right up my alley. She is a successful freelance writer and when you check out her blog you’ll know why. She blogs – and scopes – on a number of subjects, including adoption, midlife, parenthood and other generally interesting things. One of the posts that resonates deeply with me is “11 Things I Wish I’d Have Known In My Twenties.” Oh Jill, I feel you on that one! Jill has been featured on lots of sites, like Huffington Post, Blunt Moms, and The Washington Post.

Sara, from Happy and Humble

Sara loves to make people laugh – on her blog, on Periscope, and in real life! She has that sarcastic edge that makes my heart go all aflutter.  Sara loves to cook and she serves up a delicious side dish of humor with fab recipes like the ones featured in her Pizza Feasting Fridays. Oh – and have you been wondering whether you’re a real soccer mom? Check this and find out how to become one. I’m not sure whether I want to admit how close I already am!

On Periscope Sarah makes me laugh SO HARD you guys – she has a great sense of humor and her laugh is infectious! Her blog is chock full of fun, creative tutorials, activities, recipes, and lots more. This post about making the book Where the Wild Things Are* a more immersive experience is one of my favorites. It gets the kids involved in a really tactile way and I can’t wait to do the projects she talks about!

Ashley from Smashley Ashley

I have a … well, erm, certain sense of humor and Ashley is right up my alley. The title of the very first scope of Ashley’s that I watched was “My best advice: Don’t be a dick.” I became a stalker right away. She has an odd obsession with dinosaurs and calls her daughter Barb Marley. Pee. In. Pants. Funny. Check out the post about cleaning her daughter’s room. I was dying!

Cristin from Leading By Example

 Cristin from Fashion Fit Cris
Leading By Example

@FashionFitCris
Cristin calls herself a “baby blogger” and though she is new at this whole bloggy life, she is SO passionate and SO motivated and SO funny! She’s another infectious laugh-er — Every time I watch her on Periscope she lifts my heart and makes me want to go conquer the world! Her post about Priorities, Consistency, Persistence is on point, people. Go read it right now!

There are SO many other bloggers and scopers I adore, and next week I’m going to feature some who touch my heart every time I read or watch them.

Who is your favorite funny scoper? Let me know in the comments!
